Principal: Carol Borders

Mrs. Borders was born in Virginia and then moved to Ft. Myers, Florida when she was ten years old. She attended Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and graduated from Memphis State with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. From the University of South Florida, she received her Masters in Gifted Education and then later added Educational Leadership. She has been an administrator for fourteen years. Mrs. Borders taught nineteen years before this. She has two children and a Sharpei dog. Her hobbies include going to the beach and reading. She says, “Reading is the most relaxing thing for me to do. I love it!”

Assistant Principal: Darlene Butler

Ms. Butler graduated from Florida Memorial College with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and from Florida A & M University with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. She has been a school administrator for ten years. She has two children, Todd and Charles. Her hobbies include traveling and reading inspirational books. She believes, "It is better to build a child than to repair an adult."
